The Australian Homelessness Research Register (AHRR) is a web based register which aims to raise the profile of homelessness research in Australia.
The register contains up-to-date records of current and completed research projects about homelessness. There is also information about researchers, their organisations and research funding bodies.
By providing current information about homelessness research the Australian Homelessness Research Register will promote and disseminate research on homelessness and related issues in Australia. It will transfer the information collected through research to the sector and policy makers where it can best influence policy, advocacy and practice.
As a centralised location for homelessness research, the AHRR will create a national network of researchers interested in homelessness and related issues. It will facilitate the sharing of information and promote cross sectoral research.
We invite you to submit research projects to this register. To submit a research project click here.

What is AFHO?
The Australian Federation of Homelessness Organisations (AFHO) seeks to improve community awareness and understanding of the issues facing Australians who are homeless. AFHO advocates for people who are homeless, aims to represent the interests of more than 1300 homeless assistance services, and contributes to policy development and evaluation of Australia's homeless service system.
AFHO works collaboratively with homeless people's associations, homeless assistance services, state homelessness peak organisations, national peak organisations from other sectors, governments, business and the broader community to achieve these objectives.
