Title: An Exploration of Self-reliance in SAAP: Literature Review

Description:

This report represents stage one, literature review, of a project exploring & conceptualising 'self-reliance' in the context of SAAP and homelessness. It was undertaken between October - December 2003. Four key objectives were identified for the literature review:  reviewing self-reliance in the context of homelessness & SAAP; identifying models of good practice building self-reliance among people experiencing homelessness; identifying information that could contribute to defining self-reliance in this project; identifying survey instruments previously identified that sought to measure self-reliance in a range fo contexts of settings.
